Enyimba head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote is eyeing a win for his side when they face Nasarawa United
on Matchday 25 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The Peoples Elephant face the
Solid Miners at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday with the knowledge that a win could take them to
within three points of the leaders, Plateau United. “Hard work and prayers have been responsible for
our good run so far this season,” Ogunbote told supersport.com. “Missing out on continental football
is not good for Enyimba and everyone on the continent is working to see that we return to where we
belong. “The game against Nasarawa United is going to be a good game; all we are asking for is a
level playing ground. “We know our opponents well and we have prepared well but we will keep that
to ourselves for now. “All we ask for is understanding, support and prayers from our fans,” he
concluded. Enyimba currently occupy fourth spot on the NPFL standings with 38 points from 24 matches.
