Floyd Mayweather to 'fight' Yakubu Dogara in Nigeria

Donatus Prince Okonkwo, the chairman of Tetrazzinni group, confirmed to journalists in Lagos on Monday, June 5, that the speaker himself is ready for the showdown.

The 40-year-old boxing legend is expected in Nigeria between June 12 and 14 - and will visit Lagos, Anambra, Akwa Ibom and Abuja after which the next port of call will be Accra, Ghana. The retired boxer who competed between 1996 and 2015 had a massive record of 49 fights, 49 wins with 26 by knockout. He is expected to do some charity works in the country including setting up a boxing academy in Nigeria as well as other sporting activities to support the Nigerian youth.
