REAL MADRID are happy to sell Manchester United transfer target Gareth Bale if they land Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe, reports claim.
Real Madrid are currently exploring their options as they aim to make a splash in the transfer market. Among their top targets is Monaco hitman Kylian Mbappe, who scored 26 goals for the Ligue 1 side last season. The France international took European football by storm and, as a result, the European elite are set to scrap it out to secure his signature.Gareth Bale, meanwhile, is far from certain to be plying his trade in La Liga next season. United, as well as Chelsea, have been backed to bring him back to the Premier League. And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claims Zinedine Zidane is open to offloading the forward if he manages to poach Mbappe from Monaco. It is said the arrival of the teenager would pave the way for one of Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to be offloaded.
And Bale is likely to be the fall guy with Zidane keen on sticking with both Benzema and Ronaldo next season. Benzema has shown signs of waning in recent years but Zidane supposedly has a close relationship with his compatriot.
