Billionaire to pay $10,000 to be killed & have brain uploaded into a computer

Tech entrepreneur Sam Altman is paying $10,000 to be killed so that his brain can be preserved and uploaded to a computer.

The aim of the process is to allow a user to become digitally immortal.

The 32 year old billionaire is joining a waiting list to have the procedure done once it's legalised.


Nectome, is a startup company that offers to preserve your brain to allow it to be uploaded into a computer.
The procedure starts by embalming your brain while you are still alive- a procedure that is 100% fatal- with the intention to have your consciousness uploaded once the technology allows for it.


The chemical solution the company uses can preserve a body for hundreds of years, according to The Mirror.

Once your mind is "uploaded" you will be reincarnated as a computer simulation.

Nectome's wait list currently has 25 people who have signed up.

It also hopes to target people with terminal illnesses.
