Tragedy as Unizik student drowns during birthday party

A student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, identified as Ezekwe Jideofor John, of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB), has been confirmed dead when he drowned inside a swimming pool yesterday during a birthday celebration.


According to reports, the sad incident occurred at Cosmila Hotel. The deceased was said to have been at the hotel celebrating with a course mate when the sad incident occurred.
