NAF Launches Fresh Bombardment On Arepo Militants

For a third straight day the Nigeria Airforce (NAF) continued with its aerial bombardment on militants in the Arepo area of Ogun State with another assault on Saturday.
The NAF helicopter appeared over head at about 12.35 and in an operation lasting about six minutes released four rockets towards the militants’ base located on a large island behind the area.
Frightened residents not only heard the heavy thud of the explosions but also the sound of a heavy calibre machine gun, which the NAF helicopter also used on the base.
At 12.41 the operation was over and the helicopter left the area.
