A journalist and blogger, Miss Kemi Olunloyo, has finally been
released from the Port Harcourt prison after meeting her bail
conditions on Monday. Olunloyo was arrested in Lagos and
arraigned in a Federal High Court in Rivers State for alleged
cybercrime based on a news item she published online believed to
have defamed a Port Harcourt-based cleric, Pastor David
Ibiyeomie. Olunloyo, who finally regained her freedom around
3pm, was few weeks ago, granted bail by the court, but had some
issues with meeting some of the bail conditions read to her by the
court.
