$33million Star would Like to Play For Klopp – Liverpool Made Direct Approach

Liverpool already have an overcrowded central midfield with stars like Lallana, Wijnladum, Can, Henderson and Milner around. Sitll, the Reds are linked with more than a few midfielders.

If reports in the media are anything to go by then Liverpool are interested in the likes of Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.


As far as the Gunners star is concerned, Klopp is a huge admirer of the 23-year-old player, who is rated (Mirror) around 25 million pounds ($33million).

As per the latest updated provided by The Times, the former Southampton player has rejected a contract offer made by the North Londoners because his priority is playing time. He only started 16 league games in the last campaign and netted 2 goals.


As per the provided Times link, Liverpool made a direct approach to sign him recently but Arsenal rejected the move. Moreover, the report says that Alex is attracted by the idea of playing for Jurgen Klopp. As mentioned above, the Merseysiders already have more than a few central midfielders in the team. In such a scenario, is Oxlade-Chamberlain good enough to get regular starts if he moves to Anfield?
