Davina McCall confesses she'll 'never recover' from alcohol addiction in candid interview

The 49-year-old - who turns 50 in October - battled addiction in her early 20s for around six years and in her latest interview, she said that she still attends AA meetings because “all her friends are there”. Davina explained: “I’ll ­definitely never be recovered.

 I love going to my AA meetings and don’t think I will ever stop. “They are very welcoming. All my mates are there, it’s a social thing and they inspire me,” she added to the Sunday People. After fighting her demons, Davina landed her first television show on MTV and she has since gone on to present the likes of Big Brother, The Jump and The Million Pound Drop, just to name a few.

Her latest interview comes after she sparked an online frenzy when she shared a bikini snap on Instagram earlier this week. Davina looked absolutely incredible as she showcased her washboard abs and toned pins as she posed for the camera in a stripy black and white halter-neck two-piece.

 Davina said the meetings are a 'social thing' She captioned the post: “Ok, so take note of how many girls take bikini shots with their arms in the air (it's to make our tummies look better)!!!

“After three kids, my tummy looks like a sharpei puppy..swipe left to see. "My daughter is holding it...its one of her fave things...my rolls...she's helped me love them too. “[I’m] striving to be the best I can be but love who I am now...#fitness #motivation #mummytummy.”
