Hull City are looking ready to start their life in the Championship after being relegated from the top flight last term. The Tigers had to let go of quite a few of their players including the mainstay at the heart of their defence, Harry Maguire, who joined Leicester City.
As a result, they are eyeing a player who can be brought in as a potential replacement for the English international. Reportedly, the Tigers are looking to bring in Englishman Matthew Pennigton from Everton in order to strengthen their defence for the next season.
Without Maguire at the Heart of their backline, it can be disastrous for them, as they are deciding to make a move for the Englishman to replace his compatriot. Pennington, despite his good display in the defence for the Merseyside club over the last few seasons, has not been able to find a place in the starting line-up for the Toffees.
He just made 11 appearances in the last term, which is evident of the fact that he might remain heavily underused in case he stays back at Goodison Park for the forthcoming season.
