JOSE MOURINHO claims he faces a "dilemma" with Paul Pogba following Manchester United‘s 1-0 win over Brighton at Old Trafford.
Ashley Young's deflected left-foot strike soared over Matthew Ryan in the Brighton goal to keep United's title hopes alive.
But the 32-year-old's effort has since gone down as a Lewis Dunk own goal, much to Young's disapproval.
After the game he tweeted: "That was a tough one today, big 3 points in the end!
Manchester United's likely line-up to face Watford away
"Come on @premierleague....my shot was going on target, I’ve waited long enough for a goal."
Pogba completed his first 90 minute match since returning from a hamstring injury a week ago.
But Mourinho admits he is still concerned over the Frenchman's fitness and his fatigue levels going into the hectic winter schedule.
"It’s hard for me to be on the bench and don’t know when Pogba has to be changed," said Mourinho.
Ashley Young was disappointed to see his winning strike go down as an own goal
"I want to play [Marouane] Fellaini earlier, I want to play Fellaini with Pogba.
"But then I don’t know if Pogba is happy to be on the pitch under the fatigue line, or if the fatigue line has been reached.
"It’s hard to be on the bench with these dilemmas."
Manchester United will hope to continue their hunt of Manchester City when they travel to Watford on Tuesday night.
