WWE: Natalya writes about career setbacks in touching post

What’s the story?

In a blog for the Calgary Sun, Natalya wrote about her career setbacks in a heartfelt post. Talking about her injuries, mistakes, losses and adversity, Natalya asserted that it’s essential to fight through the hard times. ‘Nattie’ also revealed how she deals with defeat.

In case you didn’t know…

Natalya recently lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on SmackDown Live.

Additionally, the Hart family representative is now faced with three new contenders in the blue brand’s Women’s Division ergo Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.

The heart of the matter

Natalya explained how she deals with the trials and tribulations of life: “Whether it’s an injury, a mistake that was made, or a loss, setbacks happen to every single one of us.

I’ve learned that you have to fight through the hard times (and) trust that they will pass, because they will pass.” Furthermore, Natalya also elucidated on an ankle injury she suffered a couple of years ago during a routine training session—something that made her cry but she gradually resolved with her grit and determination.

Nattie also pointed out the manner in which she deals with losses; citing how she puts a strong front despite being disappointed with her recent title loss to Flair.

“I draw from my previous experiences with adversity — and trust me, there are so many outside of my broken ankle — and I see the setback of 'losing' as an opportunity to chase something again and rediscover that fire inside of me when I wanted something SO much!”

What’s next?

Natalya presently competes for the WWE’s SmackDown brand. The blue brand's Women’s Championship is now held by Charlotte Flair, someone who Nattie is likely to face for the strap in the days to come. Author’s take Kudos to Natalya for opening up on a public platform!

One can show nothing but respect to this great woman, and at the end of her career, she’ll probably go down as a WWE Hall of Famer. Fans can learn from Nattie and practice similar work ethic in their daily routines as well. Natalya truly is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.
