Mikel receives €9m-a-year offer from Chinese club Tianjin Teda

- Chinese side Tianjin Teda have tabled a three-year deal worth up to €9 million-a-year (N2.9billion) for John Obi Mikel
- Sources claim Mikel has accepted the offer
- The deal comes weeks after another Chinese side Shanghai SIPG reportedly offer to pay Mikel £170,000 a week (over N66milion)
Out-of-favour Chelsea midfielder Mikel John Obi has reportedly accepted a massive contract offer from China.

According to Daily Star, citing Transfermarketweb, Chinese side Tianjin Teda have tabled a three-year deal worth up to €9 million-a-year (N2.9billion) which has been accepted by the Nigerian.

Recall that Valencia chief Suso Garcia Pitarch had confirmed talks with Mikel, but with no agreement struck.
Also, Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG, coached by former Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas, reportedly offer to pay Mikel £170,000 a week (over N66milion) to end his stay at Chelsea.

But with Tianjin Teda’s lucrative offer, Mikel may now wait to see if Valencia or Shanghai SIPG can up their proposal before making a final decision.
The 29-year-old has not featured for Chelsea this season and will be allowed to leave Chelsea on a free transfer this month.
